The Creatures series follows Charlie Nickels, a neurodivergent teenaged girl who has dedicated her life to protecting the creatures, animals that traditional science do not believe in. She travels about the world working to keep the Creatures and humans from clashing, along with her trusty Feather Dragon companion, Scout, and best friend, Tyler Wood.

Exploring friendship, found family and neurodiversity, the stories are action-packed adventures. Charlie faces threats from both humans and Creatures alike across the three books, having to use her skills and vast knowledge to preserve all life she comes across.
